BD Phoenix™

The BD Phoenix™ automated identification and susceptibility testing system offers clinical microbiology labs a phenotypic, high-throughput solution to identify microorganisms and determine their antimicrobial susceptibilities. It incorporates automated nephelometry to standardize inoculum, reducing technologist error, and uses dual growth detection (oxidation-reduction and turbidity) to improve accuracy. The system supports multiple panel formats (identification only, susceptibility only, and combination) and is capable of detecting key resistance markers such as MRSA, ESBL, CPO, and others.
